PulseDrop™

Water, gas, and BTU — counted wirelessly.

PulseDrop™ brings legacy water, gas, and BTU meters online. It counts the pulse outputs those meters already produce and transmits total usage and rate over LoRaWAN — in a rugged IP67 housing rated from –40°C to 120°C, with up to ten years of battery life.

Measures
Pulse / contact-closure outputs from water, gas, BTU, and runtime meters
Inputs
Dry-contact (contact closure) and PNP pulse outputs
Power
Battery-powered — up to 10 years depending on transmit frequency
Enclosure
IP67 weatherproof, rated –40°C to 120°C
Install
Mount, wire to the output and ground terminals, and onboard
Connectivity
LoRaWAN — reliable even in remote areas with minimal infrastructure

Battery-powered pulse monitoring

Legacy gas and water meters close a switch briefly for each unit of consumption. PulseDrop™ counts those pulses and converts them into total usage and rate, then sends the reading wirelessly over LoRaWAN. It works with a wide range of pulse meter types for large-scale monitoring.
