VoltDrop™

The full power picture, single- or multi-phase.

VoltDrop™ is a wireless, self-powered energy sensor for single-phase, three-phase, and multi-phase systems. It measures voltage, power factor, real and apparent energy, and amperage with Rogowski coils or CTs — and harvests its own power from the lines it monitors.

Measures
Voltage, power factor, active energy (kWh), apparent energy (VAh), and amperage
Power
Self-powered — no batteries or charging cables
Accuracy
Calibrated, revenue-grade readings, minute by minute
Systems
Single-, three-, and multi-phase, 85–305 VAC, up to 4000A
Attachments
24" and 8" Rogowski coils plus a 300A current transformer
Connectivity
LoRaWAN, reliable even inside metal enclosures

Energy monitoring for smarter decisions

VoltDrop™ drops into your existing electrical system and uses high-accuracy Rogowski coils or current transformers to measure current and voltage together. It transmits real-time data over LoRaWAN without an external power supply, harvesting power from the energy it measures, and every sensor is calibrated for consistent, accurate readings.

1

Install VoltDrop™

Wrap the coils or CT heads around your single- or multi-phase cables, mount the unit, and connect the ground wire.

2

Onboard to the network

Add VoltDrop™ to a LoRaWAN network in minutes with the Vutility app.

3

View real-time data

See voltage, power factor, and energy live in CloudVU from anywhere.
